Tour "You go boy!"
For fours years now, we have created exhibits about women with the hope of giving young girls good role models. We have wanted to show that women have always been capable and powerful. We have noticed that young girls tend to grow a few centimeters after visiting Skarhult. In 2018, it is the boys turn. The media portrays men as wild animals; they rape, assault, and harass.
The pigs are few, but the piglets are many. Therefore, our boys need role models. In the exhibit You go boy!, situated in the castle's halls, we journey through history's ideals of manliness. We will talk about knights in shining armours, civil servants and dandies, sober industrial workers, contemporary latte-dads, and much more. You go boy! Read more about the exhibit here.
